Zebra TC8000 Touch Computer Product Description

Overview

If you’re looking for the next innovation in warehouse mobility to boost your warehouse productivity, you’ve just found it — the rugged TC8000. What makes the TC8000 so special? Everything. This groundbreaking all new warehouse mobile computer was designed from the ground up to increase worker productivity by 14 percent*. How? We’ve minimized the ‘tilt and verify’ motion required to interact with the device and your application with a new device design and an easy way to transform your legacy Terminal Emulation application into elegant and intuitive all-touch graphical screens — without any coding or modifications to your host application.

Since scanning is what your workers spend their days doing, we give you your choice of four advanced scanners that can capture bar codes in practically any condition. If you need extended range 1D/2D scanning, the SE4850 can handle all your scanning needs, offering an extraordinary range that enables the capture of barcodes from 3 inches (7.6 cm) to 70 ft. (21.4 m) — up to 60 percent closer and 35 percent farther than the competition. With an industry-leading field of view, the SE4850 can capture 4 in./10.16 cm wide barcodes as close as 7 in./17.78 cm — about one third of the distance of competitive devices. If you need standard to mid-range 1D/2D scanning, our SE4750 SR and MR imager are ideal. Both the SE4850 and SE4750 offer Zebra’s proprietary PRZM Intelligent Imaging technology for unparalleled fast performance on just about any type of data imaginable. If you need 1D scanning, our SE965 engine provides best-in-class performance, with patented Adaptive Scanning technology that delivers the widest working range in its class.

With the TC8000, your workers can choose how they want to scan. Workers can simply hold the TC8000 and point to scan. Workers can also just pass items in front of the TC8000, whether it is worn in a hip holster or on a shoulder strap, or cradled in our cart or desktop mount. This groundbreaking proximity scanning feature is an industry first in a handheld rugged mobile device, delivering hands-free scanning to increase productivity and worker comfort.

Need to capture labels with multiple bar codes as well as other types of information on forms, such as checkboxes, text fields and signature? No problem. With Simulscan, a Zebra-only Mobility DNA solution, you can do it all. Another Mobility DNA ingredient, Mobility Extensions (Mx) transforms Android into a more robust enterprise-class operating system by providing better control of your mobile devices, application access and Wi-Fi performance and security, minimizing IT support time and maximizing worker productivity and device uptime.

When it comes to reliability, the TC8000 is rugged inside and out, built to handle multiple
8 ft./2.4 m drops to concrete, 2,000 consecutive tumbles, jetting water, dust and extreme temperatures. You get the largest battery in this device class, offering triple-shift battery power and extensive battery metrics that make it easy to spot and retire aging batteries. And the advanced touch screen enables workers to interact with your application, using a gloved or ungloved finger or stylus, complete with pinch-and-zoom and other multi-touch functions. Add an extra hour of productivity per worker per day in your enterprise with the TC8000 — the next innovation in warehouse mobility, only from Zebra.
